ENTIRE DRIVE
1. Go to Start, Run, type cmd
2. Dos command prompt will open, type cd\
3. Now type the drive letter in which you want to Unhide the files lets suppose in my case its C: this will open the C: drive
4. If you want to see all hidden files and folders ~ type C:\>dir/ah
5. Now type attrib *. -h -s /s /d
6. Now close cmd using exit command
FOLDER BY FOLDER

5. Type “attrib [name of file/folder] -r -a -s -h” if you’re going to unhide files, you should type the whole name plus the extension (example: attrib banner.psd -r -a -s -h)
6. Now check you drive.. it should be there
Now stay away from those free things and sites. It is not really free when you have to fix your PC or your data or identity is stolen.
FREE IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE WORD IN THE DICTIONARY.

How to make sure you have the latest drivers
What could happen if you don't check AND update your drivers? Your machine could face the following consequences:
• Devices become less functional or stop functioning
• Conflicts with new software and/or hardware
• PC crashes in extreme cases
• Reduced system stability

Favorites is missing in Outlook 2010 navigation pane
Favorites folder is missing in Outlook? Try this:
Start -> Run; "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\outlook.exe" /resetnavpane
What it does:
/resetnavpane
Clears and regenerates the Navigation Pane for the current profile. Removes all Shortcuts and Favorite Folders. Has the same effect as deleting profilename.xml in your user directory.

Mac with Paralles Vista Printer Access Denied
I recently had a client's MAC with Parallels running Vista crash, bad hard drive. I did not originally set this up but have learn what a nightmare this can be.
The Mac tech replaced the drive and restored from the Time Machine, which is a back program. What sucks is if you get a backup with a corrupt VM then you have to recreate and do again till you get a good one. You can't just pull data from the Parallels VM as it is encapsulated. So I set out to do a repair on anything that was not working. Found issue with:
Printer Name "ACCESS DENIED". Found that the Mac shares had to be taken out and re shared. Now we can see the machine and shares but still no access, removed the printers, ran Bonjour it was corrupt, reinstalled that and ran, wallah, printing again.
Get into Quickbooks and find another problem. When you press the print icon it does nothing. Had to do a search for the QBPRINT.QBP, rename to QBPRINT.OLD and start Quickbooks again. Wallah, printing from Quickbooks again.
MAC is a great product and I like Windows, but it just doesn't pay to go both ways, :-p

pdf preview handler for Vista & Windows 7
When you try to preview a PDF file in Outlook 2007 it says:
This file cannot be previewed because of an error with the following previewer:
PDF Preview Handler for Vista
To open this file in its own program, double-click it.
You can open and save but not preview.
For those that would like to preview first I have found a great piece of software called foxit. Download and install and you will be previewing your PDF attachments again.
